MEET MELODY
Before I knew anything about events, I knew I wanted to change the world.
Just after college, my friends and I co-founded a nonprofit to support widows and orphans in Northern Uganda, displaced by a decades-long civil war, one of the greatest humanitarian crises of our generation.
A few years in, we failed. It was heartbreaking - and it was one of the most formative things that ever happened to me.
That failure handed me questions I've never stopped asking - about sustainability, dignity, ethical storytelling, and what it actually means to drive real action instead of just good feelings. Those questions led me to World Vision and International Justice Mission, where I spent years watching what happened when you gathered the right people around the right story… and what happened when you didn't.
The energy in the room at the end of a great event, that moment when your audience is leaning in, emotionally present, ready to go deeper, that window is everything. And it closes fast. The organizations that understood that are the ones who turned a single evening into a movement.
That's the strategist I became, and the lens I bring to every project, from national tours to Fashion Week runways to intimate retreats for pro athletes.
